While for some the idea of weeds can create hysteria, with thoughts of backbreaking “weeding”, toxic chemical sprays and other frustrations, actually there is much value these plants hold. Come learn about what “weeds” really are, their ecological function and purpose, what they can teach us about the health and state of our soil, some of their edible and medicinal benefits as well as some non-toxic management techniques.
